Lauren Vickers -- Full Testimonial
Jan is a man of unparalleled skill, genius, compassion, joy, and inspiration. He teaches first and foremost by living example. He conducts himself unconditionally honorably, respectfully, and professionally in every aspect of his life. His technique is of the highest expert level. His classes will exhaust and utterly consume you, and they will lift your heart, body, and mind to heights you’ve only imagined. You will improve faster and become stronger than you previously believed possible. You will surpass both your expectations and your wildest dreams. He has taught me more about myself, about the art of ballet, and about the art of living than all my other classes and teachers combined, both in school and in the studio. His choreography is, in a single word, dazzling. His musicality and spatial understanding create an exceptional and unmatched performance experience that I have yet to see bested, by even the most prestigious professional companies. I have the highest confidence that he will succeed in every opportunity that lies before him, and I count myself among the tremendously thankful and wonderfully blessed that have called him teacher, mentor, and friend.
